Every document you need before applying for a Gulf job

This article is part of our candidate guidance series. If anything here is unclear, call our counsellors on +977-1-4541288 or send an enquiry through the website — there is no charge for advice.

Foreign employment works best when you understand each stage before you reach it. Read the contract, keep every receipt, and never pay anyone outside our licensed office. If a promise is not in writing, treat it as a promise that was never made.

Start with your passport. It must be valid for at least 18 months from the date you apply, and the spelling of your name must match your citizenship certificate exactly. A mismatch of a single letter will hold up a visa for weeks, and correcting it once the file is submitted is far harder than correcting it now.

Next, gather your skill and experience evidence. Trade certificates help but are not always essential — an experience letter on employer letterhead, with a contact number that answers, often carries more weight. Bring whatever you have to your counselling session and we will tell you what is missing.

Our pre-departure orientation covers all of this in Nepali, along with your rights in the destination country, workplace safety, and how to remit money home safely. Attendance is mandatory before labour approval is issued, and there is no separate charge for our candidates.
