Nepali workers on a construction site in Doha, Qatar

Qatar is our largest destination. We have been placing Nepali workers with Qatari employers since 2009, and today around a third of everyone we deploy each year travels to Doha, Al Wakrah, Al Khor or Mesaieed — mostly in construction, fabrication, hospitality and facility management.

Recruitment to Qatar runs under Nepal’s Foreign Employment Act. Every demand we accept is attested by the Nepali embassy in Doha and approved by the Department of Foreign Employment before we advertise a single position. Contracts state the basic wage, overtime rate, accommodation, food allowance, annual leave and the ticket home, and we explain each one in Nepali before the candidate signs.

Since the labour reforms of recent years, workers in Qatar can change employer after their probation without a no-objection certificate, and a statutory minimum wage applies across all sectors alongside a wage protection system that pays salaries directly into the worker’s own bank account. We brief every candidate on both before departure.

Typical packages run from QAR 1,000 to QAR 2,800 a month depending on trade and certification, almost always with free accommodation, transport and either food or a food allowance. Certified welders, scaffolders, heavy drivers and electricians earn the most, and we run in-house trade tests so candidates can be graded before the employer interview.

Our Doha welfare contact stays reachable after departure, and employers in Qatar get a single named coordinator for replacements, renewals and the next demand. To discuss a vacancy in Qatar, call +977-1-4541288 or make an enquiry.
